To update classroom technology, all teachers will receive an iPad, Apple TV and projector screen by next year, according to Assistant Principal Sonia Jackson.

Some teachers, such as music director David Miller and English teacher Karen Melton, have already received their teaching equipment.

Miller says he will use it to record the marching band practices and performances to show band members their mistakes.

Melton says the technology is great because it saves the time that in the past was wasted trying to hook up the projector screen. She also says it allows students to view hundreds of web sites to review educational resources.
