Football Players Suffer With Injuries

Injuries have plagued the Varsity and Junior Varsity Football teams this year.

The Blue Jays have five injured players. Two are on Varsity and three are on JV.

Junior Ray Buford, who is a varsity player, has been sidelined with a knee injury; junior Devin Mclead is a varsity player suffering symptoms of a concussion, said Football Coach Tim Conley.

The injured JV players are all sophomores. Blake Guillard has a pulled hamstring, Tremaine Cole has a pinky finger injury and Wayne Flood broke a finger but is still able to play, Flood said.
