Coming into this season, the SHS A&T Wrestling Team won team had won team districts last year, so the expectations were high.  Ten wrestlers made it to the individual districts last year as well.

    The goal for the season was to win team districts and possibly make it to the team states competition.  Most of the wrestling squad members are experienced wrestlers, with the majority membership consisting of seniors.  

Overall, the team results for this season include the following:  The Southfield A&T Wrestling team won the League Championship, forteen wrestlers made it to ‘day two’ of the Oakland County Competition, and two members became ‘state qualifiers’.
