As the seniors of 2024 at Southfield A&T High School are approaching the end of their high school journey, they eagerly anticipate the countless opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. Teanna Flagg and Kobie Smith are two seniors who look forward to more than just high school endings and having their own aspirations and dreams to follow.
On their last day at Southfield A&T High School, they both look forward to their own respective things. For Teanna, she plans to say her goodbyes to her classmates and teachers and then aim to get ready for prom afterwards. On the other hand, Kobie stated, “I plan to just chill out and not do anything reckless on my last day.”
While both seniors plan to do different things on their last day, they are both excited for what lies beyond high school. Teanna stated, “I’m excited to start working again and building towards getting my own place. And also the celebration trip we have planned.” Kobie stated, “I plan on going to college for the music industry and graphic design programs. Also, I plan to get a job off campus.”
As the two seniors look ten years into the future, they find themselves going down very different paths. Teanna explained, “In the next ten years, I see myself writing, working with a publisher, and maybe having a part-time job as well.”. And Kobie stated, “I plan to make music and designs for companies.”
Although the two seem to have nothing in common, they both look forward to something similar. Starting their lives is something the two are both excited for in the near future. Kobie stated, “I look forward to becoming very successful in life.” and Teanna stated, “I’m looking forward to starting my life.”
Both are looking forward to starting their lives. As the seniors at Southfield A&T High School prepare for their individual journeys, they are filled with a mix of emotions. They are eager to embrace the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead and to make their mark on the world in their own unique ways. Whether they choose to pursue higher education, start a career, or follow their passions, one thing is certain, the future looks bright for these talented young individuals.
