Homecoming Approaches
Student Council Picks ‘Neon Night’ as Dance Theme
October 4, 2013
Homecoming season has quickly arrived. The anticipated homecoming game against rival Southfield-Lathrup is Friday, October 18, with the dance the following night, Saturday, Oct. 19.
Student Council has developed the theme of “Neon Lights in the Night” for the annual dance.
Andrew Green, student council advisor, says, “Students from other schools are welcome to come as long as they have a signed release form from their school’s principal.”
Destiney Drake, freshman, says she is ready for the fall dance. “I’m going with a lot of my friends so we can all have fun because this is our freshman year.” She adds, “I cannot wait.”
Deonte Gray, junior, says he and his friends plan to depart from homecoming and go to a hotel party in Southfield.

I like how this article gives facts and details about the attire and what to expect when you arrive to homecoming. Without this information I wouldn’t know the dress code, time, whether I need to bring my ID or theme, so I can get everything I need in order.
