The school’s new “social probation” policy mandates that students can be placed on social probation for low grades, tardiness or other reasons after the first card marking. Under the policy, those students will have their student ID’s revoked and replaced with special ID’s which will not allow them to attend any sporting events or dances, said Assistant Principal Marty Bulger. Those on social probation will also lose the privilege of leaving campus for lunch, Bulger said.
