Junior Stormeigh Mattison and lead scorer KristiLynn Defoe are returning this year to the Girls Varsity Basketball team.
Both ladies are going into their third year as Blue Jays.
Mattison, at 5 feet 9 inches and weighing 123 pounds, can play all five positions and her best aspect is defense.
Defoe, right under Mattison at 5 feet 5 inches, and weighing 130 pounds can play both shooting and point guard.
“There’s a lot of different talent and each player has something to bring to the team,” said Mattison.
coach Jamie Glinz said, “Both girls put in a lot of work in AAU and off-season workout.”
Both players say they hope to attend and play basketball at Florida State after the Blue Jays.
