Sophomore Amauri Hardy plays on the Varsity Basketball team.

The 2014-15 Boys Varsity Basketball team is likely to be relatively young this year, according to Coach Gary Teasley.
For the past few years, the team has been dominated by underclassmen. This year is no different with players Isaiah Green and Khary Fanning expected to be the only two seniors.
Coach Teasley says, “It is exciting to have such a young team because the underclass players bring a lot of energy.” He says the two seniors he does have possess great leadership skills.
Sophomore guard Amauri Hardy says a team full of underclassmen doesn’t faze him. Having younger players is better because they have to prove themselves, Hardy says.
At the height of 6’2” and weighing 180 pounds, Hardy already has an offer from the University of Buffalo after playing one season in his high school career.
Sophomore Michael Flowers says it feels good having a young team because it gives players experience and time to improve.
