Juniors Keenan (on left) and Kiyon Haggen are identical twins. Keenan was born before his brother on May 27. Kiyon claims he dresses more stylishly than Keenan. Their favorite thing to do together is watch TV, they say.

Even the parents of juniors Lavonna (on left) and Laronna Chambers, born Dec. 9, have had difficulty telling these twins apart. When we were younger, our parents would get confused about who was who, says Lavonna. They called us by the wrong name.

Born April 3, seniors Shayla (on left) and Kyron Smith are fraternal twins. We have inside jokes and like the same music for the most part, says Kyron. Shayla says, Im more outgoing while Kyron is more reserved.

Freshman twins Saudia (on right) and Arabia Porter - yes, those are their real names - say they hope to have their own sets of twins some day. Saudia says she can read Arabias mind when she is fibbing. She (Arabia) turns aways when shes lying, says Saudia. As for their unusual names, Our dad just liked the names, says Arabia. He has never been to Saudi Arabia. Their birthday is May 26.

Sophomore twins DaJani (on left) and DaJanique McBride are identical twins. Their interests are pretty much identical, too. They are both cheerleaders who enjoy dancing, singing and walking. They best part of being a twin is never being lonely, says DaJani. Their birthday is April 15.

Sophomores Alonda (on right) and Alontae Williams are fraternal twins, born Feb. 5. Alonda is more into music and fashion while Alontae is more into sports. When we were babies, we had our own language that only we could understand, said Alontae.

Sophomore twins Leia (on left) and Keia Grigsby do everything together, they says, whether its shopping or coking. Keia is the older of the set by a few minutes and describes herself as more outgoing while Leia is is more introverted. The best part of having a twin is always having a best friend, says Leia. They were born June 3.

Fraternal twins Lauren (on right) and Cardell Harris are juniors who were born Feb. 15 - the day after Valentines Day. They both run track for Southfield High. Hes annoying, but I enjoy having a twin, says Lauren.

Fraternal twins Justin (on left) and Jessica Cain were born on April 7. Jessica is a few minutes older than her brother. Both juniors are athletic; Jessica plays volleyball and Justin plans football.
