Robotics Team Wins Decorating Contest
The Techno Jays Robotics Team took first place in the first annual Deck the Halls contest sponsored by the National Honor Society.
Nine groups competed, including The Southfield Jay, is the contest to see who could decorate a school hallway best for the holidays.
The Techno Jays used their engineering minds to create a train cutout with flashing lights.
Second place went to Southfield Student Council with their “Frozen” Disney movie-themed hallway. The blue Jay Cafe took third with a blue and white theme of decorated trees and stockings. The Southfield Jay took fourth for its “Noel Street” theme of decorated classroom doors.

My sister came home talking about how fun the hall decorating was. It’s good to see the school involving in fun activities.
