Football Player Tries Wrestling
Junior Torey Barclay, who is known for his football skills, has joined the wrestling team.
“He’s doing pretty good for his first year,” said Wrestling Team Captain Jake Brock, a senior.
Barclay competes in the 215-pound weight class, which is one step below heavyweight.
Barclay said wrestling so far “is pretty hard, kinda stressful. I consider myself more of a football guy.”
He was encouraged by Football Coach Timothy Conley to try wrestling. Conley is the former wrestling coach, as well.
