As a fund-raiser for the school’s music department, choir students delivered singing telegrams to special students on Valentine’s Day.

“This is the only fund-raising activity we have for the choir,” said music teacher Alan Warmanen. “Apparently (the choir) has done this for several years,” said Warmanen, who is a first-year teacher. “It was new to me.”

The event raised approximately $100, Warmanen said.

Singers included seniors Henry Green, Tamaris Ratliff, Shelby Christian, Ebony Green and William Hickman.

Henry Green said he especially liked singing for his peers.
